New wallpapers!

Awhile ago, Kellex had messaged me saying that he loved all the walls I had been doing for Liberty and that if I ever was in the mood, he would also love for some wallpapers for Droid Life. I told him I'd definitely get around to it at some point and that was the end of it.

Fast forward to now, at least two months later, and I've finally gotten around to it. I spent a good portion of yesterday staring at pink, lots and lots of pink. I think it was worth it, but I'll let you all be the judge. I've put the wallpapers onto the market as galleries, with one for phones and the other for tablets. Since the tablet ones were so large, I've also chopped them to my default resolution (1920x1200) and placed them in a gallery here as well. So now you can have pink love on your phone and desktop!

Feel free to grab the desktop versions from here, phone version here and the version for tablets here.

4.5 themes last week!

Holy moly!

Yes, you read that title right. We released 4 and a half themes last week! Talk about release crazy. Actually, if we are going to be accurate, we release 4 of those themes in one 6 hours period! Let's recap them.

There's Tha Flesh which is for all you necrophiliacs out there. It's like Frankenstein, but not black and white. Just some dead skin, sewn together. Sounds lovely right? You know you like it. Next up is The Litebrite which looks just like the toy its named after. The icons have a LED look to them, while still remaining colorful and strikingly yummy. Follow that up with Tha Gemstone which is a personal favorite of mine. I was looking forward to sporting this shiny, smooth set of icons. Lastly, we've got Tha Metal and The Metalpress which are both industrial champions. Don't take my word for it, check them out on the Android market.

We'll be launching a whole ton more for you soon. As always, direct your feedback and requests here.

Future and old, together.

These two sets are so far away from each other in design, but for the purposes of this post we'll place them right next to each other. This past week has seen the release of two new unique, distinct ADW Themes and accompanying icon sets. I'd like to formally present to you Tha Paper & Tha Entity.

Tha Paper harkens back to the time of yore, when paper was more than just money. It's yellowed by the passage of time and looks to have been discarded at some point, visible by its crumpled look. These highly stylized, tree-born icons are perfect for anyone who values... paper. Don't take my word for it, go give them a try.

Straight from outer space, Tha Entity set of icons is crazy! It's really hard to describe how they look. If you've ever seen a sci fi movie with space travel, right about the time they hit warp speed and the stars begin to blur - that's the look. I'm particularly intrigued with the docks on this one. I've included a bunch of different color variations with this one and I'm really proud of how they turned out. I hope you all enjoy them too.

Supposedly, we'll be having a huge icon addition to the sets soon.. at least that's the word so far. Stay tuned.
